Preternatural
An abstracted catalogue from the future – what might we be able to browse through and buy in the year 3000?
PROBLEM
As technology advances, the boundaries of humanity are becoming increasingly blurred. How will our bodies interact with technology in the future? How might fashion evolve alongside these changes? Preternatural explores these questions through a speculative lens, questioning the future of human identity, digital integration, and bodily transformation.

SOLUTION
Through a series of staged, fashion-focused photographs, I examined the intersection of human evolution and technology. Drawing inspiration from transhumanism, posthumanism, and sci-fi narratives, I created visuals that speculate on the fusion of biology and artificial enhancement. Robotic posing, digital manipulation, and lighting techniques conveyed a future where human augmentation is both revolutionary and unsettling. The work serves as both an exploration and a caution—celebrating the possibilities of technology while questioning how far we can go before losing what makes us human.
